Small animal clinic located in Galion Ohio has immediate opening for a Part-time VETERINARY ASSISTANT.
Our Veterinary Assistant supports the veterinarians and veterinary technician in ensuring quality veterinary care for all pets, advocates for pets, educates clients on all aspects of pet health, and ensures a safe and effective hospital environment.
We are looking for a self-motivated individual who enjoys working with animals and people. Experience in an animal hospital is preferred but not required, we are willing to train the right person. We are looking for a positive, upbeat person for a diverse position including receptionist, assisting with exams, completing simple diagnostic test, taking x-rays, cleaning, answering phones and much more
Schedule requires 25-30 hours - four days a week including Saturdays.
Candidate must be able to lift 50 pounds and spend most of the day standing. To allow us to concentrate on our patients, we ask for NO PHONE CALLS or DROP INS please.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
