Manage in-house and sub-contractors daily.
Maintain project schedule to client requirements.
Monitor all billing weekly to insure accuracy.
Plan, coordinate, oversee, and inspect new, rebuilt, and upgraded (Telecom, Fiber, FTTx) construction projects.
Inspect (Telecom, Fiber, FTTx) networks and ensure optical mainline and drop network is available for launch or product deployments.
Ensure standards, processes and procedures for network design and deployment are followed.
Interface with customer appointees for project updates, changes, and reports.
Advise, coordinate and aid Construction Managers assigned concerning escalated issues pertaining to (Telecom, Fiber, FTTx) field engineering, and work with OSP Design Engineers, Project Managers, and others to create efficient route designs and cost estimates.
Advise, coordinate and aid Construction Team assigned concerning escalated issues pertaining to permitting and pole applications, joint-trenching, and make-ready for utility poles.
Function as the company representative with other utility and state/local entities for field meetings when opening/closing permits if required.
Inspect (Telecom, Fiber, FTTx) networks and ensure optical mainline and drop network is available for launch or product deployments.
Advise, coordinate and aid Construction Team assigned concerning escalated issues pertaining to OSP issues to solve fiber cable OSP issues, as well as make requirements based on priority and need to ensure the project and budget are maintained.
Ensure project documentation is being maintained for assigned splice issues, construction print issues, redlines, etc.
Advise, coordinate and aid Construction Team assigned concerning escalated issues pertaining to field personnel and construction contractors real-time specifically pertaining to:
OTDR plots/traces Optical power readings, etc.
Coordinate with senior management team and operations personnel to manage project schedules, project milestones and deadlines are set, publishing specific customer needs.
Assist with escalated OSP material inventory issues, including receiving and issuing equipment/materials out to crews.
Advise, coordinate and aid Construction Team assigned concerning escalated issues pertaining to priority, need, and impacts pertaining to the projects assigned and budgetary impacts.
Advise, coordinate and aid Construction Team assigned concerning escalated issues pertaining to safety observers and Quality Assurance representatives for Heritage OSP projects in order to maintain compliance with Federal, State, and Local laws, as well as the client's safety program and related workmanship practices.
Distribute, enforce, and maintain Company policies to include change orders and adjustments.
Track all work assigned and ensure that all reporting procedures are followed.
Ensure that all in house and contract crews follow all safety requirements according to NESC code and OSHA regulations.
Verify that all crews have all required PPE to perform in a safe and effective manner.
Advise, coordinate and aid Construction Team assigned concerning escalated issues pertaining to inspections, red lines issued to all crews and billing reconciliation.
Report and document all safety and hazardous violations immediately to Company Senior Management team.
