7 Galion, OH Galion, OH Full-time Full-time $22 - $32 an hour $22 - $32 an hour Edgar Trent Construction is currently looking for a Directional Drill Operator to work on a crew primarily tasked with operating various Directional Drills to install 4 conduit for underground fiber lines.
The role will also include installation of 4 conduit inside substations.

Competitive wage Health insurance/ 401K 4- Day work week Great Work Environment! RESPONSIBILITIES The primary purpose of this position is to operate drilling equipment used in construction of under-ground fiber optic lines.
Monitors Quality Assurance and ensures installations meet customer specification and industry standards Ensures safety practices are observed by all crew members during their work Operate Mini-Excavator for handhole placements, clean-up, and substation dig-ins.
QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE Preferred 2-5 years' Directional drilling experience.
Experience working with both Vermeer and Ditch Witch directional drills Construction safety practices - JSA's, tail gate meetings, hazard analysis Class A CDL strongly preferred.
Current and valid driver's license with good record to operate company provided vehicle.
Ability to operate heavy machinery Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
Dependable and trustworthy.
Ability to look beyond the standard solutions.
Availability to work and stay out of town All candidates will be required to go through a drug screening and background check.
